Basic Info.
Please see the links to the right for some basic information on China and/or Kazakhstan and our adoption agencies, if you are interested.
Big News (maybe not what you expected, though...)
Instead of continually spamming everyone with email, updating you all on our adoption progress, we thought we'd create a blog that you can choose to visit as often as you like...
Here is our latest news!
As you know, the adoption process through China has taken a few years and we believe we are still going to wait another few years before we are matched with our daughter. We are willing to wait. We have, though, started a second adoption process and are planning on adopting a child from Kazakhstan as well. The wait to travel is currently much shorter than through China, the babies are known to be taken good care of and the system seems to be reliable. We are thrilled to have this opportunity!
We are open to adopting a child from the age of 6 months (the youngest possible) to 24 months and either a boy or a girl. We can't wait to meet the little one God chooses to place in our care!
Our Kaz dossier is currently being translated. It will then go to the Kaz Embassy or Consulate (I can't remember which) here in the US. It will then go to Kaz. At this time (remember anything can change at any moment, though!) our adoption agency thinks it could be only 8 months before we travel to meet our child!
Please keep us in your prayers!! We are still sore from our 2.5 year long China process and are reticent to have big hopes - time wise - for this process. Yet we need hope and like to have hope and want to have hope!
