Originally, back in 2006, we assumed that we would be settled at home with our daughter by the time the Beijing Olympics took place, so it is kind of difficult for us to be at this place without a child. Needless to say, the Olympics have been on my mind more than any other time in my life because of this close connection.
We are posting this blog to ask for your prayers, as the director of our china adoption agency said so well, that the Beijing Olympics will truly be peaceful, safe and successful as it would be good for the world, for China, and for all the children waiting to be matched with their loving, “forever” families.
